What is SQL, SQL Commands, and SQL Engine
If you are new to learning SQL, here are some things you should know.
What is SQL?

SQL (Structured Query Language) is a database computer language designed for managing data in relational database management systems (RDBMS). Its scope includes data query and update, schema creation and modification, and data access control. SQL was one of the first languages for Edgar F. Codd's relational model in his influential paper, "A Relational Model of Data for Large Shared Data Banks," and became the most widely used language for relational databases.

What are the SQL Commands?

SQL Engine

MySQL
or "My sequel" is a relational database management system (RDBMS) which has more than 6 million installations. MySQL stands for "My Structured Query Language." The program runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases.

MySQL is commonly used by free software projects which require a full-featured database management system, such as WordPress, phpBB and other software built on the LAMP software stack. It is also used in very high-scale World Wide Web products including Google and Facebook.
