Keep private information safe and avoid sharing it with strangers online. Don't post anything you wouldn't want teachers, family, friends, and future employers to see. Think before you post Consider how your post might be perceived by others and avoid anything inappropriate or hurtful. Be a good digital citizen Be polite. Treat others online with respect and avoid harmful behavior. Think about your accounts Choose sensible email address and usernames. Use strong passwords Choose unique, difficult to guess passwords and never share them with others. Be cautious Use privacy settings, watch for scams, viruses, and malware, and report suspicious activity. Keep personal info private: Your full name, address, phone number, passwords, your plans and birthday. Question yourself You can't believe everything you read and see online. There's a lot of incorrect and biased info. Be secure Log off of sites, especially on shared devices. Unplug Balance your screen time and green time. Get outdoors, move, play, and interact face to face.
