You must first add the site to your list of sites before you can do site-related operations on it, such as presenting advertisements on new websites or establishing site-level banning policies. To see if your website is ready to display advertisements
Google Adsense performs certain checks when you add a new site to make sure it is prepared to display ads. They confirm that you are the website's owner and that your site abides by the rules of the AdSense program. Although it normally only takes a few days, sometimes it can take up to two weeks. When they've finished the checks and your site is ready to display advertisements, they'll let you know. On my Google AdSense account, how can I add a new site? 1. Open your AdSense account and log in. 2. Click Sites. 3. Press +New site. 4. Enter your website's URL. You must go to your host partner to add your site to AdSense if it is hosted on one of Google's host partner sites (such as YouTube). 5. Click Save. The status of your website is "Requires review" when it is added to your Sites page. 6. For your site to be connected to AdSense, choose a verification method: AdSense code snippet Copy and paste the code into the HTML of your page, between the <head> and </head> tags. Make sure you place the code on every page you want ads to appear. Below is an example of Adsense code snippet. <html> <head> <script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-1234567890123456" crossorigin="anonymous"></script> This is the head of your page. <title>Example HTML page</title> </head> <body> This is the body of your page. </body> </html> Ads.txt code snippet Copy and paste the code into your ads.txt file, and upload the ads.txt file to your site's root directory. If you have an existing ads.txt file, paste the code into each ads.txt file. Below is an example of ads.txt code snippet. Your ads.txt file should look like this, where pub-0000000000000000 is your own publisher ID: google.com, pub-0000000000000000, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0 Meta tag You might want to use this method if you don't want to place the AdSense code snippet on your homepage. Copy and paste the code into the HTML of your page, between the <head> and </head> tags. Below is an example of Meta tag. <html> <head> <meta name="google-adsense-account" content="ca-pub-0000000000000000"> This is the head of your page. <title>Example HTML page</title> </head> <body> This is the body of your page. </body> </html> If your website is linked with a platform To connect a site that's linked with a platform: a. Depending on the platform, either make sure your setup is finished on the platform or copy and paste your publisher ID into the platform's setup page. b. Verify that the platform setup is complete, then click Next. 7. After checking the box to show that you're done, click Verify. Your site will be checked by Adsense. Make sure the changes you've made to your site are published and reachable by the AdSense crawler if your site cannot be confirmed. You can attempt an alternative verification method if your problems persist. 8. Click Request Review. Adsense will verify that your website is prepared to display ads. Your website will be prepared to display ads once our checks are finished.
