Google announces an update to its video publisher policy this coming November 2023. Google is planning to amend its policy for video publishers on November 7, 2023, to permit the placement of non-in-stream advertisements in sticky implementations—that is, non-in-stream advertisements that stay in one spot on the screen.
This policy covers AdSense publishers and Google Ad Manager Partners who monetize with video ads in auction, including those displayed in audio content, games, in-article, and in-feed, as well as those using Google Monetization (Preferred Deals, Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Auction, and Open Auction). The video ad placement is any location where it can appear (in a game, in a video player with in-stream video, or in a stand-alone non-in-stream placement).
