Globe is extending its roam-like-a-local service with GoRoam, debuting the service in Malaysia after previously rolling it out in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand, in anticipation of the busiest time of year for international travel.
Globe's answer to the increasing need for reasonably priced international roaming services is GoRoam. Travelers may enjoy uninterrupted access without the inconvenience of constantly changing SIM cards while on the road with GoRoam's country-specific offerings, which are designed to match local SIM card costs.
Globe introduced GoRoam in the following locations earlier this year:
Taiwan: ₱600 for a 10-day validity period of 2.4 GBs.
Thailand: ₱800 for an 8-day validity period of 15 GBs.
Hong Kong: ₱600 for a 5-day validity period of 3GBs.
Globe unveils that its users traveling to Malaysia may now avail of the GoRoam offer at ₱800 for 5GBs, valid for 10 days.
These bundles are carefully designed to match local SIM rates, data allotments, and validity periods in the relevant countries.
"With GoRoam, there's no longer a need to juggle between SIM cards when traveling abroad since Globe has effectively bridged the gap in terms of convenience and compelling value. GoRoam underscores our unwavering dedication to enhance the roaming experience for Pinoy travelers," stated Coco Domingo, Globe's Vice President of Postpaid and International Business.
Now, Filipinos traveling overseas won't have to deal with the inconveniences of changing SIM cards, renting pocket WiFis, figuring out strange phone configurations, or losing contact with loved ones. GoRoam allows consumers to keep their original SIM card without having to deal with the hassle of setting up a new one. With the service's unwavering guarantee of continuous connectivity, traveling abroad is made easier and more connected than ever before.
For postpaid and prepaid travelers, GoRoam can easily register via the GlobeOne app.
