Fruitas Holdings, Inc. Completes the Maiden Private Placement of P200 Million Corporate Notes4/17/2024 On April 16, 2024, Fruitas Holdings, Inc., the industry leader in operating multi-format food and beverage establishments and a company listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FRUIT, successfully concluded its first private placement of P200 million corporate notes, which was arranged by RCBC Capital Corporation. Not more than nineteen principal institutional lenders and qualified individual or institutional buyers (QIBs) received the notes. The money raised will be utilized for both general business needs and working capital requirements.
The fact that the entire maximum amount specified by the company was taken up in response to the notes' issuance shows how well investors saw House of Fruitas' bright future. The issuing of notes broadens House of Fruitas' pool of funding sources. The company has successfully completed both its initial public offering (IPO) and the IPO of Balai ni Fruitas, its subsidiary, in the recent few years. Additionally, it has grown the number of relationship banks on its list, which has improved the banks' credit lines for the company and its subsidiaries. Because of this, Fruitas Holdings has been able to grow its manufacturing capacity, accomplish a number of acquisitions that have had a significant impact, and solidly establish itself as a leader in food and beverage outlets across numerous formats. “This milestone represents a significant step forward for Fruitas Holdings, signifying our increasing prominence in the market. We express our utmost gratitude to the investors which subscribed to our notes. We will reciprocate this confidence by delivering on our strategic initiatives. This notes issuance provides a new financing source which will empower House of Fruitas to expand its product offerings and access a broader customer base,” stated Mr. Lester Yu, President and Chief Executive Officer, Fruitas Holdings Inc. Fruitas Holdings Inc., listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange under the symbol FRUIT, is the leading operator of multi-format food and beverage stores in the Philippines. From a single Fruitas stall opened in 2002, the group now operates over 30 brands in its portfolio, which includes well-loved food concepts Fruitas Fresh from Babot’s Farm, Buko Loco, Balai Pandesal, Buko ni Fruitas, De Original Jamaican Pattie, Johnn Lemon, Juice Avenue, Black Pearl, Friends Fries, Sabroso Lechon, Ling Nam, and Fly Kitchen.
