Hotel 101 Global Pte. Ltd. (Hotel101 Global), in partnership with renowned engineering firms Kamita Sekkei and Technocrew, and with Iwata Chizaki Inc., the project's contractor, agrees to build the ecologically conscious Hotel101-Niseko. This project solidifies the partners' shared goal of developing a property that not only satisfies eco-efficient operational requirements but also establishes a standard for sustainability in this region. With a CASBEE rating, Hotel101-Niseko will be the first hotel in the entire town of Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. The Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency, or CASBEE, is the recognized framework used in Japan to assess how environmentally friendly a structure is.
With impressive portfolios that include work for the City of Obihiro, the City of Sapporo, and Hokkaido University, among others, Kamita Sekkei and Technocrew deliver expertise. With the expertise of Iwata Chizaki Inc., the company behind the famous Chitose International Airport, in charge of its construction, Hotel101-Niseko is set to become a shining example of sustainable development. The values outlined in the newly inked agreement, which emphasize a dedication to ecologically responsible practices and the integration of smart technology to boost efficiency, are closely aligned with this cooperation. The Hotel101-Niseko's architecture and use of technology to facilitate eco-friendly and efficient operations are intended to encourage sustainability. “We believe that sustainability is a core aspect of the Hotel101 brand which will enable it to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Being awarded a CASBEE rating highlights Hotel101-Niseko's position as a pioneer in environmentally friendly hospitality solutions, demonstrating its ability to incorporate eco-friendly principles into all aspects of its operations and architecture. Situated amidst the area's natural landscape on a 1.17-hectare plot in Niseko-Hirafu, Hokkaido Prefecture, Hotel101-Niseko was selected for its dedication to ecological conservation. The mission of Hotel101 Global is to deliver an environmentally conscious guest experience that satisfies the high sustainability requirements established by the neighborhood.
