The DFNN Board of Directors decided to form a Joint Venture Company ("JVC") with Consulting Informático de Cantabria (CIC), allowing the latter to expand its activities and help the Philippines and other Asian nations in collaboration and coordination with DFNN. CIC, a Spanish-registered company, specializes in offering comprehensive solutions for mission-critical infrastructures. As an esteemed engineering and IT project development company, CIC has been at the forefront of innovation since its foundation in 1990. It began its adventure in Spain and has since expanded abroad, with a presence in over 30 countries. Its valued partners include industry titans like Microsoft, Apple, Oracle, Dell, Cisco, and Amazon Web Services. Clients include PTT and Siemens.
CIC also provides turnkey projects in software development and IT integration, ICT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. CIC also creates products such as asset management and support, IT consulting, and application and infrastructure maintenance. The corporation operates in a variety of industries, including power, telecommunications, oil and gas, railroads, and government and public administration. Amount of investment and/or interest by the parties involved: Total investment of P12,500,000 DFNN Subscription (60%): P7.5 Million CIC Subscription (40%): P5 Million Provisions on profit-sharing, arrangements on management and operations: The sharing of profits will be based on equity interest participation in the JVC.
