Common Computer Problems That You Will Encounter
Surely you have encountered one of these problems on your computer and some solutions to solve them.
You computer doesn't turning on

Whether the computer is completely dead, it powers on, but nothing happens, or it never finishes booting, the result is the same you can't use your computer at all. Possible causes that you need to check:

  • If your computer appears to be running, check your display. Ensure the monitor is turned on and connected to the computer.
  • Faulty power cord
  • Faulty power outlet
  • Faulty power supply
  • Broken MOBO (motherboard)
  • You can also try checking for beep codes, display issues, unusual BIOS settings, or troubleshooting the PC in Safe Mode.
  • Other fixes include disconnecting non-essential devices and checking for loose components and malware.
  • If it is a laptop, check the battery. Try booting up your unit without a battery.

You computer performance is slow

First, identify what causes your computer to slow down. You may have some sort of spyware or virus infection, require more RAM, or your systems may need a tune-up. Having many apps, programs, web browsers, and so on open at once can slow down your PC. It is advisable to use a Solid-State Drive (SSD). SSDs offer shorter boot times for your computer, more immediate data transfer, and higher bandwidth. You may also consider removing unnecessary applications, and web browser add-ons, and defragmenting your hard drive.

Blue Screen of Death (BSoD)

Technically, it's called a Stop Error. This error appears on your screen for many reasons, such as failing hardware, damaged software, corrupted .DLL files, problems with drivers, and more.

Missing Dynamic-Link Library (.DLL) File

.DLL files house information for your operating system on how to perform certain functions. Occasionally, your computer loses .DLL files or something damages them. You may have missing or corrupt .DLL files if you receive an error message every time you perform a certain function, such as saving files. When your PC can't read a particular .DLL file, it doesn't know how to respond in certain situations.
