AMD to Purchase Nod.ai, an Open-Source AI Software Expert

In order to increase the capabilities of its open AI software, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., commonly known as AMD, announced the signing of a definitive deal to buy Nod.ai on October 10, 2023.

With Nod.ai, AMD will get a skilled team that has created a market-beating software innovation that speeds up the deployment of AI solutions designed for AMD Instinct™ data center accelerators, Ryzen™  AI processors, EPYC™  CPUs, Versal™  SoCs, and Radeon™  GPUs. The partnership closely complies with AMD's AI growth plan, which is based on an open software ecosystem that lowers entry barriers for users through model libraries, developer tools, and other resources.
