Wilcon Depot celebrated its 100th store legacy milestone on January 21, 2025. Wilcon hosted a remarkable event for longtime industry partners, suppliers, and media partners, highlighting the company's strong and lasting path in the home retail market. The Shangri-La The Fort was abuzz with excitement as more than 500 guests, a mix of local and international attendees, celebrated this achievement. Ms. Rosemarie Bosch-Ong, Wilcon Depot's SEVP and COO, delivered a warm greeting while reminiscing on the company's progress.
“What has helped us move forward was staying true to our simple yet powerful Filipino core values. With a good amount of courage, wisdom and heart, Wilcon Depot was able to defy the odds, or shall I say, gravity, and fly high to 100!” She continued with pride, “Tonight is not only a testament to how far we’ve come, but a reminder that our journey is far from over – it is only just beginning. Tara, join us to many more years, stores and milestones! Isang daan na Wilcon, isang daan pang Wilcon, isa lang ang daan: Wilcon.” Ms. Lorraine Belo-Cincochan, President and CEO of Wilcon Depot, officially closed the event thanking long standing partners, Wilcon’s executives, and lastly its hard working employees. “As my father always says – our workforce, our people, our human resources are Wilcon Depot’s greatest blessings.” Wilcon’s journey began in 1977 with a humble 60-square-meter hardware store. Built on hard work and a vision to provide quality home improvement products, Wilcon steadily grew. expanding its offerings and store network. For 48 years, Wilcon became a trusted household name Wilcon's #FlyingHighTo100 campaign represents the company's quest for growth and dedication to providing great products and services to its communities. This development is a step forward in giving homeowners and builders access to high-quality options and dependable customer service. Since the home improvement and building-products store went public in March 2017, Belo-Cincochan has led the family business through its most aggressive expansion to date. Wilcon, which comprises Wilcon Depot big-box stores and Wilcon Home Essentials now DO IT WILCON boutiques, surpassed the 100-store mark a year sooner than expected. Continuing its tradition, Wilcon remains devoted to its commitment of assisting Filipinos in building better houses. As the firm expands beyond its 100th shop, its focus remains on empowering communities by providing affordable, high-quality home solutions. The firm is now focusing on speeding the expansion of its smaller shop formats, making its services more accessible to underserved communities around the country.
