Adhering to the slogan "Live Sustainability. Live URC," URC Vietnam persists in incorporating eco-friendly practices into its operations, fostering innovation in sustainability. URC Vietnam, in collaboration with Faslink, a pioneer in sustainable textile technology, introduced uniforms made from recycled materials to the workplace, demonstrating that fashion can promote good environmental change. Faslink is a renowned leader in the sustainable textile industry, having spent over 16 years developing ecologically friendly materials. Among its ground-breaking inventions are the Reborn line, which is made from recycled materials (such as rags, old fabrics, and plastic bottles), and the unique S.Café technology, which creates fibers from used plastic bottles and coffee grounds.
URC Vietnam has embraced these advancements in order to give uniforms with actual advantages to personnel. The S.Café fibers, for example, include nano-sized holes that trap odor molecules, keeping uniforms fresh for extended periods of time. These same characteristics protect against damaging UV rays and expedite moisture evaporation, providing better comfort in hard work settings. As of August 2024, URC Vietnam had given over 8,000 sustainable uniforms to its Sales Group and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Teams. Each uniform is manufactured from about eight 1.5L recycled plastic bottles, demonstrating URC Vietnam's dedication to a circular economy and lowering its environmental effect. URC Vietnam is creating a new benchmark for business sustainability in Vietnam and beyond by using recycled materials into its supply chain, such as coffee grounds and plastic bottles. The collaboration with Faslink exemplifies URC Vietnam's commitment to creative, eco-friendly solutions that benefit both people and the environment, demonstrating that corporate success and environmental stewardship are compatible.
