A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) to formalize and enhance the partnership. On August 20, 2024, at TWSE Headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon and TWSE Chairman Sherman Lin oversaw the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
The MOU states that PSE and TWSE would share best practices in a number of areas, including market trends, ESG practices, and laws, as well as work together on product development and market marketing. “I believe this MOU is a good starting point for the relationship between PSE and TWSE and is key to fostering the friendship recently formed between us and exploring mutually beneficial endeavors for the two bourses. TWSE’s insights on product and technology development, regulatory and sustainability initiatives will serve as invaluable inputs to our Exchange,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon. To carry out the objectives in the areas of collaboration covered by the MOU, PSE and TWSE will establish a working group.
