Semirara stands out with Five Awards at Prestigious Regional Investor Poll

Integrated energy company Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC) was once again recognized for excellence in investor relations, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance at the 15th Institutional Investor Corporate Awards 2025, presented by regional investment publication Alpha Southeast Asia.

​SMPC received five awards following an independent poll composed of over 600 investors and analysts across Southeast Asia, as well as the US and Europe.

The company emerged as one of the six best-managed companies in the Philippines for having the Most Organised Investor Relations (5th place), Best Senior Management Investor Relations Support (3rd place), Strongest Adherence to Corporate Governance (3rd place), Most Consistent Dividend Policy (1st place) and Best Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (3rd place).

According to Alpha Southeast Asia, a total of 36 publicly-listed SEA companies were ranked this year and this list represents the crème-de-la crème of best practices on corporate governance, investor relations, disclosure, transparency, financial management, integrated reporting, CSR and/or dividend policy.
