Security Bank’s Credit Cards Rewards Program Triumphs at the RBI Asia Trailblazer Awards 2025

Security Bank’s BetterBanking Rewards Program was awarded Best Advance in Loyalty/Rewards Programme at the Retail Banker International (RBI) Asia Trailblazer Awards 2025. The awards ceremony was held at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and celebrated excellence in banking innovation across Asia-Pacific.

​The judges reviewed and selected Security Bank as the winner among various regional banks for enhancing customer experience, expanding the rewards ecosystem, and improving operational efficiency. This flagship rewards platform for credit card rewards and rebates provides real-time updates on rewards points, making it easy for customers to track and redeem points; integrates a wide variety of rewards options; and automates the redemption process to reduce manual interventions and lower operational costs. This recognition is another step for Security Bank in becoming the most customer-centric bank in the Philippines.

Launched in July 2024, the program has seen a significant number of cardholders enjoy BetterBanking Rewards with a 51% jump in redemptions by August. The automated system has enhanced efficiency and supports the Bank’s sustainability efforts by allowing rewards to be used for community initiatives like charitable donations.
