Security Bank named Best SME Bank in the Philippines by The Digital Banker

Security Bank Corporation was named Best SME Bank – Philippines at the Global SME Banking Innovation Awards 2025 during a virtual gala on March 20, 2025.

The Digital Banker recognized the Bank’s support of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), citing its innovative solutions, exceptional client experience, and solid financial performance.
 
Since launching its Business Banking Segment (BBS) in 2022, the Bank has strengthened its customer-centric proposition with products and partnerships, digital payments initiatives, and improved loan processing times designed to meet the unique needs of MSMEs. The BBS loan portfolio has also grown 2.7 times, showcasing its dedication to supporting the growth and development of MSMEs in the country.
 
In 2024, bolstered its service offerings with the BusinessPlus Fully Loaded Promo, providing free bank-to-bank transfers. BBS launched new initiatives including business insurance and the exclusive Business Elite program, offering benefits for clients maintaining a minimum P2 million average daily balance.
 
The Digital Banker also recognized the Bank’s data-driven, multichannel approach and its efforts to strengthen its risk management processes.
