SBS Celebrates its 10th Anniversary as a PSE Listed Company and Business Milestone Achievements

SBS Philippines Corporation (SBS) proudly celebrated its 10th year as a listed company with a ceremonial bell ringing at the Philippine Stock Exchange on August 15, 2025.

​In honor of the occasion, SBS Board Chairman, Ricardo Nicanor N. Jacinto, Vice Chairpersons, Necisto Y. Sytengco II and Aylene Y. Sytengco, President & CEO, Gerry D. Tan and SBS Subsidiary’s Vice President Ned Bryan Y. Sytengco rang the Opening Bell to start the trading day.

This listing milestone honors the legacy of its founder, Mr. Necisto U. Sytengco, about serving with purpose and being good stewards of the resources and affirms SBS’ commitment to transparency and good corporate governance as a trusted business partner to its stakeholders.

Since its listing in 2015, its total assets have more than doubled to P8.8 billion in 2024 and its debt to equity ratio cut down by over 40%, improving from 70% in 2015 to 34%. SBS also expanded its product portfolio with innovative solutions and adopted advanced technologies in IT, logistics, and renewable energy to enhance operational efficiency and elevate customer service, investing P200 million in capex to support these initiatives.

Furthermore, SBS embarked on a business diversification program, investing in property related investments and businesses which now extend to 24 investee companies with total investment carrying value of about P3.2 billion. It likewise proudly achieved an impressive 2-Arrow recognition for attaining corporate governance excellence based on the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), a position it continues to retain to-date.

Looking ahead, Mr. Necisto Y. Sytengco II, SBS’ Vice Chairman & Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the steadfast commitment to the SBS vision to continue to expand its footprint, harness new technologies, and deepen its engagement with stakeholders.
