PSE Launches Viber Channel, Participates in Global Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) participated in the World Federation of Exchanges' (WFE) Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy campaign by holding a closing bell ceremony.

Over sixty WFE member organizations participated in the Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy 2024 campaign, which was organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) to support World Investor Week.

“While the Philippine Stock Exchange is principally responsible for developing the capital market, it is likewise mandated with providing and ensuring protection for stock market investors. In my mind, the best way to afford stock market investors with requisite protection is through information and education,” PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon said in his message.

During the event, Mr. Monzon announced the creation of PSE's new Viber channel, which will provide more information on market updates, business disclosures, and PSE-related news and announcements. Market players can subscribe to the PSE Viber channel at https://pseviber.info/PSEViberChannel.
