Pryce Corporation (PPC) delivered its strongest financial performance to date, posting a consolidated net income of P4.01 billion for the year ended December 31, 2025 – a 30% increase from the previous year’s P3.09 billion. This growth was fueled by the continued expansion of its industrial gas operations, strategic investment gains, and disciplined cost management across its core businesses. Total revenues rose by 9.6% to P22.72 billion, up from P20.72 billion in 2024. Liquefied petroleum gases (“LPG”) remained the company’s primary revenue driver, contributing P19.64 billion, a modest increase of 2.6%. Industrial gases, however, posted a significant 32.3% growth to P1.21 billion, reflecting the ramp-up of new air separation plants and increased market demand. Real estate and memorial park operations grew by 11.7%, while pharmaceutical sales rose by 10.4%, both contributing stable recurring income.
Total costs and expenses amounted to P18.70 billion, up 6.1% from the prior year. While industrial gas costs rose in line with volume growth, LPG costs and operating expenses remained well-contained. Finance costs slightly declined, and income tax expense dropped by 9.1%, contributing to improved net margins. Earnings per share rose to P2.1331 from P1.6449, reflecting enhanced shareholder value. No other comprehensive income was reported for the year. Looking ahead, PPC remains focused on scaling its industrial gas footprint and sustaining operational efficiency. These strategic moves are expected to support continued profitability and reinforce the company’s position as a leading player in the Philippine industrial gas and energy sectors. In line with previous disclosures, PPC is in the preliminary stages of constructing its air separation plant in Davao. Completion is expected early in the first quarter of 2027. This project is expected to further strengthen the industrial gas segment once operational. |
