Pryce Corporation Net Income for H1 2025 Up By 46.1%

Pryce Corporation (PPC) achieved a 46.1% increase in its consolidated net income for the first half of the year 2025, equivalent to a P609 million year-over-year growth from that of 2024. PPC’s H1 2025 consolidated revenues also went up by 10.7%, around P1.02 billion higher than last year’s equivalent figures.

PPC’s H1 2025 consolidated net income increased to P1.93 billion, from P1.32 billion net income in the same period in 2024. This increase in net income can be attributed to the overall growth of sales volume for liquefied petroleum gases (“LPG”) and, specifically, industrial gases, as well as PPC’s gains on marketable securities currently amounting to P576 million.

PPC’s overall LPG sales volume grew year-over-year by 3.75% for H1 2025, with Visayas and Mindanao generating 12.8% sales volume increase. Meanwhile, PPC’s industrial gas sales volume for H1 2025 went up by 71.3%, resulting to an increase in industrial gas revenues to P547 million from P426 million.

PPC’s consolidated revenues increased to P10.3 billion for H1 2025 from P9.54 billion for the same period last year, even with the US$ 5.92/metric ton (“MT”) drop in the average contract price, from US$ 612.08/MT to US$ 606.17/MT. This increase in revenues was due to the increase in sales volume in Visayas and Mindanao. LPG revenues remain the largest contributor to PPC’s consolidated revenues for H1 2025, with P9.79 billion or 92.7% of the total revenues. This is followed by industrial gases, providing P547 million or 5.2%; revenues from memorial park operations with P194 million or 1.8%; and pharmaceutical products set at P30 million or 0.30%.

Earnings per share for H1 2025 increased to P0.95 from P0.64 last year, resulting in a 48% year-over-year increase.
