PLDT's Data Center Arm, VITRO Inc., Tops off PH’s First Hyperscale Data Center in Laguna

The data center arm of PLDT Inc. (PLDT) and ePLDT subsidiary VITRO Inc. recently performed a topping-off ceremony to commemorate the structural completion of the 50-MW VITRO Sta. Rosa is the first and most sophisticated hyperscale data center in the country.

The construction milestone also denotes VITRO Sta. Rosa's preparedness for energizing and integrating power. Representatives from Mace TPM, Metro Development Builders, Inc. (MDBI), and VITRO Inc., its construction partners, were there.

VITRO Sta. Rosa, a five-hectare property in the rapidly developing industrial city of Sta. Rosa, Laguna, will emerge as the largest data center campus in the country by a wide margin. It has the highest level of network diversity and resilience, with at least three fiber routes from PLDT and other telecom providers. It is also designed to be energy efficient, leveraging the most recent advancements in cooling and power redundancy. It is certified as Rated-3 and ready for Rated-4.

Furthermore, VITRO Sta. Rosa is the perfect location for hyperscaler Availability Zones and Points-of-Presence, as well as for essential systems used by the public sector and businesses. It will also be home to the country's most advanced internet exchanges and the richest internet ecosystem.
