PLDT Global Corporation (PLDT Global), an international unit of PLDT Inc., has launched its new Tindahan ni Bossing (TinBo) mobile app, making it easier for overseas Filipinos to access digital services. Overseas Filipinos may download the TinBo app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and register to effortlessly enjoy the offers and services offered on TinBo with just a few clicks on their smartphones.
“The launch of the TinBo app reflects our commitment to bring PLDT’s brand of malasakit to more overseas Filipinos. It also further strengthens TinBo’s position as a reliable and user-friendly platform that empowers Filipinos around the world and cares for their families,” said Albert V. Villa-Real, President and CEO at PLDT Global. The TinBo app, like the website (www.tinbo.ph), is a one-stop marketplace for all of its customers digital needs, providing a diverse range of services as well as exclusive deals and promotions. They can send telecom loads as well as prepaid cards for their family's pay TV and electricity consumption in the Philippines. The TinBo app allows overseas Filipinos to simply and securely pay their loved ones' expenses, including water, electricity, internet, insurance, government services, and more. TinBo app users may also get a Smart Virtual Number (SVN), which allows them to have secure digital identities and obtain one-time passwords from Philippine banks and e-wallets, giving them worry-free access to important financial transactions in the Philippines. The SVN also provides free 24-hour calls to the OWWA Helpline 1348 for Filipinos who require government help, particularly in emergency situations. Filipinos living abroad may use the TinBo app to pamper their relatives back home by sending food e-vouchers or entertainment vouchers to their favorite games, streaming services, and video-on-demand subscriptions at great prices. Overseas Filipinos may also meet their family's home requirements by purchasing shopping and supermarket e-vouchers using the TinBo app, which can be used at online shopping sites, major local malls and grocers, and online appliance companies. They may also look after their families' health by sending health and wellness e-vouchers for doctor's appointments and drugstore e-vouchers for medications. They may also obtain an insurance solution designed specifically for OFWs through the TinBo platform. The TinBo app includes ePadala, its newest offering for Filipinos living overseas who want a simple and dependable way to send financial help to their family in the Philippines. Currently accessible in Hong Kong, the ePadala via the TinBo app allows Filipinos to transfer e-vouchers safely and immediately to their family members' Philippine bank accounts and e-wallets at any time. Finally, TinBo app users may quickly access e-government services and pay bills and payments to the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-Ibig, National Housing Authority (NHA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA). TinBo intends to extend its digital product offerings in 2025. Aside from that, PLDT Global will launch its Top Bossing Milyonaryo Promo this year. Registered Filipino TinBo users overseas may earn points with each transaction on the TinBo app. To participate, Filipinos abroad simply download the TinBo app and create an account. TinBo users who score 1,000 points or more will be included in the Top Bossing of the Month roster and have the opportunity to win e-vouchers. The TinBo user who earns the most points by the end of the promotion on June 12, 2025, will be the Top Bossing Milyonaryo and will get the top prize of P1 million. The TinBo app launch is a PLDT Global project that supports the PLDT Group's overarching mission of improving the quality of life for Filipinos throughout the world via meaningful digital experiences.
