PLDT Enterprise, JoyRide Partner to Revolutionize Ride-Hailing Operations

​JoyRide, the Philippines' first and only homegrown superapp, has strengthened its commitment to revolutionizing the mobility and ride-hailing scene via its partnership with PLDT Enterprise.

​The latest partnership makes use of a range of connectivity and communication options, emphasizing PLDT Enterprise's role in enabling local players and promoting innovative business models.

JoyRide plans integrate PLDT Enterprise's fixed and wireless technologies, such as Smart Messaging Suite, Smart Bro, Bizload, Smart Postpaid, SIP Trunk, and Direct Subscriber Line, in order to adapt to the ever-changing landscape and enhance operations.

These products are designed to meet JoyRide's expanding operating demands across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Cebu, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Naga, Legaspi, and Pampanga. Furthermore, the recently established JoyRide Bus service on the SuperApp allows commuters to go to Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Baguio, and Cagayan via Victory Liner.
 
JoyRide improves its services and operations by leveraging PLDT Enterprise's innovative connectivity solutions. JoyRide uses the Smart Messaging Suite to effortlessly communicate with customers in real time, providing One-Time Pins (OTPs), updates, and promotions to provide the highest level of transaction security and seamless communication.

Smart Bro controls tablets fitted in JoyRide taxis, making journeys into interactive experiences by displaying appropriate content to keep passengers interested and delighted.

Smart Bizload makes it easier for JoyRide riders to stay connected by allowing for quick, real-time mobile load reloading and continuous connection with customers. Meanwhile, Smart Postpaid provides JoyRide employees with connection and messaging plans, therefore easing internal communication and improving operational efficiency.

The partnership between PLDT Enterprise and JoyRide demonstrates the importance of digital transformation in the Philippines' transportation industry, which contributed about P202.58 billion to GDP in Q3 2024.
