PLDT Enterprise Inaugurates Digos Cable Landing Station in Davao del Sur

Strengthening connectivity in Mindanao, PLDT Enterprise leaders, alongside government and industry partners, recently inaugurated the Digos cable landing station in Davao del Sur. An essential part of the Apricot cable system, Digos City is one of two landing points in the Philippines – the other one in Baler, Aurora.

Present at the ceremony were top executives from PLDT and Smart, led by Jojo Gendrano, Senior Vice President and Head of Enterprise Business Group, Eric Santiago, First Vice President and Network Strategy & Engineering Head, and Mitch Locsin, First Vice President and Head of Enterprise Core Business, joined by government partners from DICT, NTC, DENR, and the Digos City LGU, who celebrated this significant milestone in PLDT's ongoing efforts to strengthen the Philippines' digital infrastructure and support the country's digital transformation.
