PHINMA Education Completes Acquisition of St. Jude College Dasmariñas Cavite

​PHINMA Education Holdings, Inc. (PEHI), a subsidiary of PHINMA Corporation (PHN), confirmed on January 7, 2025, the second closing of the acquisition of St. Jude College Dasmariñas Cavite, Inc. with the acquisition of the land and buildings, and payment of debt in accordance with the terms of the Share and Asset Purchase Agreement.

On December 6, 2024, PHN disclosed the signing of the Agreement by PEHI to acquire controlling shares of stock of St. Jude College Dasmariñas Cavite for a total consideration of P85 million, investment in additional shares of stock of the school to acquire land and buildings of the campus, and pay debt, in the total amount of P344 million. The First Closing of the transaction was also completed on the same date with the acquisition of shares of the controlling stockholders and payment of P85 million for the said shares.

PHINMA Education Holdings, Inc. is currently a 66.41%-owned subsidiary of PHINMA Corporation, started operating in the education services sector in 2004 through the acquisition of PHINMA Araullo University in Nueva Ecija.
