Filinvest REIT Corp. (FILRT) records a 13.3% increase in new leases in 9M24 compared to FY 2023. This is largely driven by the new lease accounts and expansions of multinational companies within Northgate Cyberzone. The proactive efforts of FILRT's management to swiftly address pre-termination challenges have spurred the arrival of new tenants, reinforcing the area’s status as a prime business hub in the South. Recently, NASDAQ-listed EXLService Holdings, Inc., a New York-based leader in data and artificial intelligence, has strengthened its partnership with FILRT by expanding its lease with an additional 1,750 square meters.
New Zealand-based Building Engineering and Design Co. (BEDC), a top engineering and architectural solutions firm, has expanded its offices in Filinvest Two by securing an additional 1,724 square meters on another floor. One of FILRT’s longest tenant-partners, GENPACT SERVICES LLC (Philippine Branch) (Genpact), a global professional services firm, also leased additional space in the iHub 1 Building, marking the company’s sixth expansion with FILRT. Genpact’s growing presence in Northgate Cyberzone—with over 24,400 square meters of leased space across Plaza A, Vector Two, and 5132 Buildings. FILRT then welcomed Gear Inc., a global Business Process Outsourcing company founded in 2007 and headquartered in Singapore. This partnership is a significant milestone for both parties, as it marks Gear Inc.'s first permanent office in the Philippines. Gear Inc. will lease 1,993.10 sqm of premium office space within FILRT’s Filinvest One Building. Located in the prime, central area of Alabang, Muntinlupa, Northgate Cyberzone is a PEZA-accredited, campus-style development consisting of 16 Grade A office buildings that offer businesses a vibrant and well-connected workspace.
