The 12-story The Bellagio Palawan will rise along the entrance of Baytown Palawan, serving as the gateway to the lifestyle estate that embodies the same vibrant lifestyle of Forbes Town BGC. Property giant Megaworld, the pioneering developer of LIVE WORK-PLAY townships in the country, is building its first upscale residential condominium development inside its Baytown Palawan township in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
The 12-story The Bellagio Palawan will offer 188 ‘smart home’ condo units, featuring the latest wireless smart home systems that can be accessed remotely using a dedicated phone app. This gives residents the ease and convenience of controlling several unit features, including lighting fixtures and other smart appliances in the living, kitchen, and dining areas as well as the bedroom. All units have their own balconies and lanai with varying layouts and sizes of up to 109 square meters for three-bedroom suites. The façade of The Bellagio Palawan is inspired by the “harmony of Earth and Water,” capturing the fluidity of the waves of the sea through the use of curving horizontal elements on each floor. Various plants will also be integrated into the façade design to make the entire structure blend more with nature. A standout design feature of The Bellagio Palawan is the canopies on the ground floor retail area that resemble giant leaves above the walkways and protect pedestrians from sunlight or rain. Stepping into the property, future residents will be welcomed to a large arc slat that leads to the lobby, whose interiors are inspired by the beauty of underground river karst fused with a tropical resort vibe. A prominent design element in this space includes a beautiful clam-inspired chandelier that highlights how the interiors of The Bellagio Palawan takes inspiration from Puerto Princesa City’s most iconic tourist attraction. This nature-inspired theme continues throughout the development, with amenities reflecting the harmonious balance between the indoor and outdoor elements. “The Bellagio Palawan will serve as the gateway to Baytown Palawan. Once completed, it will become a vibrant lifestyle estate that will mirror the excitement that characterized Forbes Town in BGC through the years. We envision Baytown to be the ‘new lifestyle capital’ of Puerto Princesa City,” says Javier Romeo Abustan, vice president of sales and marketing, Megaworld Palawan. Perhaps the most iconic amenity of The Bellagio Palawan will be the city’s first heated infinity pool on a roof deck of a residential tower overlooking the scenic Puerto Princesa Bay. The roof deck amenity area will also have a kiddie pool and its own pool lounge. At the second floor of the tower are more amenities such as co-working spaces, a function hall, fitness center with a yoga studio, outdoor lounge and seating areas, kiddie play area, and a daycare center. The building will be equipped with RFID access technology in the elevator lobby as well as 100% backup power for common areas. Each unit at The Bellagio Palawan will also be equipped with video-phone communication systems that directly links to the front lobby reception and security concierge. The Bellagio Palawan will also be highlighted by several sustainability features, such as its bicycle parking, low flow rate fixtures for water conservation in toilets and kitchen, occupancy sensors at hallways, and energy-efficient equipment. The tower will also have its own sewage treatment plant (STP), rainwater harvesting facility, and materials recovery facility (MRF). Megaworld expects to generate around P3 billion in sales from The Bellagio Palawan, which is scheduled for completion by 2030. Baytown Palawan is a lifestyle estate being developed by Megaworld together with its wholly-owned subsidiary Suntrust Properties, Inc. Rising along the Puerto Princesa South Road in Palawan’s capital city, Baytown Palawan will soon host more residential condominium developments, hotels, as well as commercial retail developments. Baytown Palawan is one of two Megaworld township developments in Palawan. The company is also developing the 462-hectare Paragua Coastown ecotourism township in San Vicente, which is famous for the Philippines’ longest beachline.
