Jollibee Group Announces Partnership with Rizal Province to Provide Jobs to Senior Citizens and PWDs

The Jollibee Group has partnered with Rizal's provincial government, led by Governor Nina Ynares, to provide temporary jobs to senior citizens (SCs) and persons with disabilities (PWDs). This is the Jollibee Group's first provincial-level partnership and the largest of its kind in the food sector, and it represents a significant step forward in the company's commitment to supporting equitable employment opportunities and creating more inclusive workplaces. ​

As of September 2024, the Jollibee Group's program has hired over 400 qualifying SCs and PWDs or select stores of its participating brands like Jollibee, Chowking, Burger King, and Greenwich in the cities of Manila, Muntinlupa, Pasig, Quezon City, and Antipolo.

Through this partnership, we will be able to help those who have the capacity and desire to work and give them the opportunity to join us in our mission of bringing the joy of eating to everyone,” said Ruth Angeles, Chief Human Resources Officer, JFC Philippines, and Head for Human Resources, Jollibee Brand International.

The Jollibee Group intends to extend the initiative through further collaborations in various regions, with the objective of recruiting over 500 seniors and persons with disabilities by 2025.
