Italpinas Development Corp, Dusit Thani Forge Partnership for Two New Hotels in Northern Mindanao

IDC Prime, a subsidiary of Italpinas Development Corp. (IDC), has partnered with Thailand-based Dusit International to develop two new hotels in Northern Mindanao.

The agreement, announced on Monday, designates Dusit as the hotel operator for IDC's next projects, while IDC will manage the development, concentrating on sustainable green designs. As developer and owner, IDC Prime will bring its unique architectural style and sustainable green concepts. As an experienced hotel operator, Dusit Thani will deliver its internationally known brand and exceptional guest experience.

“Dusit International’s name and track record speak for themselves,” commented IDC President Jojo Leviste. “It is deservedly among the world’s most prestigious hotel brands, and it is an honor for us to be partnering with them.”

One of the two planned hotels, Dusit Princess Moena, will be built on IDC's Moena Mountain Estate near Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

This 1.5-hectare mixed-use development, set to open in the fourth quarter of 2029, will feature an eight-story green skyscraper as well as a collection of luxury villas. The hilltop location in Barangay Dahilayan will provide them plenty of fresh air and panoramic views.

The second hotel, Dusit Princess Firenze, is expected to debut in the fourth quarter of 2029. It will be placed in IDC's Firenze Green Tower project in the Limketkai neighborhood of Cagayan de Oro.

Firenze Green Tower and Moena Mountain Estate are pre-existing joint ventures between IDC, the property developer, and the Go family, the original owners of the two sites.​
