ISI E-Beam, a wholly owned subsidiary of A Brown Company, has announced a strategic investment of P12.5 million in Accudata Analytical Labs Corporation (Accudata), acquiring a 35% equity stake. This partnership aims to enhance ISI E-Beam’s microbiological testing capabilities and expand its integrated service offerings to clients across the food, pharmaceutical, and medical sectors. Based in Calamba, Laguna, Accudata is a specialized diagnostics and product safety laboratory offering microbial testing and regulatory compliance services. The lab supports multiple industries by detecting pathogens, spoilage organisms, and mycotoxins in food and feed products, while also performing microbial analysis on raw materials, water, and industrial inputs. In addition, Accudata plans to offer future services including sterility, bioburden, pathogen, and antimicrobial resistance testing for food, medical devices, and pharmaceutical products. The company is recognized for offering the fastest African Swine Fever (ASF) diagnostics in the market using RT-PCR and ELISA, with a 24-hour turnaround time.
This collaboration enables ISI E-Beam to offer a fully integrated service model, combining its electron beam (E-Beam) sterilization services with advanced laboratory diagnostics. Clients will benefit from a streamlined process for safety assurance, faster turnaround times, enhanced regulatory support, and the convenience of working with a single provider for both sterilization and lab verification. Paul Juat, President of ISI E-Beam, and Robert William “Will” Tan, President of Accudata Analytical Labs, shared: “We are excited to launch this partnership, combining our organizations' expertise to deliver innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and product integrity. This collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to supporting industries where healthcare and food safety are critical. Accudata traces its early beginnings to a group of Philippine Science High School (PSHS) alumni, led by Will Tan and former NEDA Secretary Cielito Habito, who came together with the goal of doing good through science-based, practical technologies. Now, with the entry of ISI E-Beam—led by Paul Juat, also a PSHS alumnus—the mission continues across generations, advancing solutions grounded in scientific excellence and service to the nation.” The investment will support the expansion of Accudata’s laboratory infrastructure, equipment upgrades, and additional services, including advanced sterility, bioburden, pathogen, and antimicrobial resistance testing. These enhancements reinforce Accudata’s position as a trusted partner for quality assurance and diagnostics in the Philippines. Both ISI E-Beam and Accudata are actively growing their nationwide reach, providing essential services to industries where sterilization and product safety are critical to operations and market success. Irradiation Solutions Inc. (ISI E-Beam) operates a 10 MeV electron beam steriliza on facility in Tanay, Rizal, offering high-volume processing capacity for local and export-oriented industries.
