ICTSI's Argentina Upholds Supply Chain Security and Global Trade Standards

​TecPlata, International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) business unit in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has reinforced its adherence to the highest standards of supply chain security by becoming the first terminal in Buenos Aires to obtain the prestigious Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) certification.

​BASC is an international nonprofit organization that promotes secure trade through cooperation with governments, regulatory agencies, and other global institutions. Companies that achieve BASC certification demonstrate strict adherence to security and control management protocols, helping prevent illegal activities such as smuggling, drug trafficking, terrorism, and cargo theft.

“This certification, along with being part of the BASC network, strengthens TecPlata’s cooperation with customs and international organizations, enabling us to manage risks and secure trade without compromising border controls.
