Globe Telecom Boosts its 5G Network with 256 New Sites, Expands Global Presence

Globe Telecom continues to lead the way in 5G technology deployment in the Philippines, having successfully launched 256 new 5G sites in the first half of the year, solidifying its position as a driving force in the country's digital transformation.

​With this newest upgrade, Globe's 5G outdoor coverage in the National Capital Region (NCR) has increased to an incredible 98.45%. Globe achieved a 5G outdoor coverage percentage of 94.19% in important cities in Visayas and Mindanao, demonstrating its commitment to bringing cutting-edge technology to more people, no matter where they are.

The 5G coverage increase demonstrates Globe's continued commitment to push the boundaries of digital connection and provide Filipinos with faster, more dependable internet services.

In June 2024, Globe registered over 7 million devices linked to its 5G network, demonstrating the growing demand for high-speed mobile data and the company's ability to meet it.
