Companies then progress to the Adopter stage, using digital tools more consistently to enhance operations and growth. This is followed by the Proficient organization, which has embedded technology and automation into its daily operations. The highest level is the Innovator, reserved for enterprises where digital adoption is core, featuring deep automation and advanced technologies in place.
