Filinvest Development Corporation's Hospitality Arm Poised for Stronger Growth with New Ventures

In order to deliver great travel experiences and promote regional tourism, Filinvest Hospitality is expanding its portfolio of hotels and launching new hotel and food and beverage (F&B) options.

The Gotianun-led Filinvest Development Corporation's hospitality division had a significant 48% rise in income to P2.9 billion in 2023, primarily from higher average hotel prices, improved occupancy rates, and more contributions from its food and beverage outlets.

As the Filinvest Group sets its sights on faster growth and making a positive impact on Philippine tourism and nation-building, our hospitality business aims to be a significant contributor to its overall plan,” said FHC’s First Senior Vice President Francis Gotianun.

​Travel preferences of a wide variety are catered to by Filinvest's hotel portfolio. It oversees seven hotels, including Timberland and Quest hotels, which cater to mid-range leisure customers, as well as upscale five-star establishments under the Crimson brand.

Renovations are being carried out at Crimson Mactan to enhance the facilities and services provided. The Azure Beach Club, a chic seaside venue that offers a classy escape while sipping cocktails and listening to music, is one of its newest products.

The hotel also launched Aka, a real Japanese eatery with an ala carte menu, omakase, and kaiseki. Chef Naoki Eguchi of Aka demonstrates the craft of Japanese cuisine, enthralling diners with his exacting methods and commitment to capturing the essence of Japanese flavors.

The Quest Hotel, which has prime locations in Cebu, Clark, and Tagaytay, is still a top choice for conferences, meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions because it provides full amenities and individualized attention to meet the needs of corporate groups. Located on the famed 36-hole Mimosa Golf Course, Quest Clark in particular offers guests the chance to relax and socialize in a beautiful environment.

A brand-new bike park was opened by Timberland Highlands Resort in the first quarter of 2024, appealing to city dwellers who want to get outside and enjoy mountain biking.

Filinvest Hospitality is also finishing the first of its new line of hotels called Grafik Hotel Collection. Set to launch in the first quarter of 2025, Grafik Pine House Baguio, the first property in the collection, is built on a 5,700-square-meter property within Camp John Hay and features more than 200 rooms, various dining outlets, a spa, and meeting areas.

On the F&B front, Filinvest Hospitality is growing its cafe restaurant, Baker J, offering authentic Parisien-baked pastries and expertly-crafted coffee accompanied with a diverse range of plated dishes. Currently, it has five branches located in Alabang, Clark, Tagaytay, Taguig and Rizal.
