Digital National ID Enables More Filipinos with Access to Services in Government, Financial Institutions

The Digital National ID is enabling more Filipinos to avail services in government agencies and financial institutions.

​Accessible through the eGovPH app, the Digital National ID is a valid and sufficient proof of identity in all transactions. Identity verification for Digital National ID holders can also be done through the National ID authentication services via https://everify.gov.ph/, which features facial recognition and fingerprint scanning. In addition, the authenticity of the Digital National ID can be verified through https://everify.gov.ph/check.

“Through the Digital National ID, we empower Filipinos with a valid proof of identity that can be easily accessed and conveniently presented in all transactions,” said Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General. “We urge everyone who has successfully registered to maximize their Digital National ID so that they, too, can fully enjoy the benefits of being part of the National ID system.”

As of 01 June 2025, a total of 87,588,458 Digital National IDs are accessible via the eGovPH app.
