Concreat Holdings Philippines, Inc. Earns Prestigious Golden Arrow for Exemplary Corporate Governance

Concreat Holdings Philippines, Inc. or CHP (formerly CEMEX Philippines) has been recognized with the prestigious Golden Arrow Award at the recognition ceremony organized by the Institute of Corporate Directors last October 23 at the Okada Manila. This marks the company’s fifth overall recognition for corporate governance excellence and a first under the Concreat name.  

This year's recognition shows the company's notable improvement in the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), elevating Concreat to a 2-Arrow distinction that demonstrates its strengthened corporate framework and continued commitment to responsible corporate citizenship. CHP Chief Financial Officer Brian T. Lim accepted the award on behalf of the company. 

The Golden Arrow Award recognizes publicly listed companies that demonstrate outstanding performance in corporate governance based on the ACGS assessment—a globally benchmarked evaluation tool that measures the governance practices of publicly listed companies across ASEAN countries.

The 2024 ACGS assessment marks the first implementation of the revised framework, aligned with the updated G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. It introduces new indicators on sustainability and resilience, along with more stringent criteria designed to highlight exemplary governance standards and encourage adaptation to emerging global best practices.
