Chinabank wins Euromoney award for 30-Minute Instant Card Issuance

Chinabank was recognized among the most innovative and outstanding banks in the region at the Euromoney Asia-Pacific Awards for Excellence 2025 last September 2 at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore.

The bank received the Philippines' Best Bank for Customer Experience award for its 30-Minute Instant Issuance Credit Card Program, the first and only credit card issuance of its kind in the country. This initiative makes credit easily accessible through Chinabank's 30-Minute Instant Issuance Booths in various SM Malls, hypermarkets, and supermarkets nationwide. The application process is digital and simplified, putting the power of Chinabank Credit Cards in the hands of more Filipinos.

At the awarding ceremony were CBC Cards and Personal Loans Marketing Head Niña Reynoso, Portfolio Management Head Jennifer Soriano, and Cards and Personal Loans Sales Head Joseph Vincent Pangilinan.

The 30-Minute Instant Issuance Credit Card Program was also recently named by The Asian Banker as the Best Digital Consumer Lending Service and by the Asian Banking & Finance as the Service Innovation of the Year – Philippines.
