Chinabank Unveils Upgraded Mobile App 'My CBC'

China Banking Corporation (Chinabank) launched its redesigned and improved mobile app, My CBC, for faster, simpler, and smarter banking on the go. 

Cognizant of the rising smartphone usage in the Philippines and increasingly tech-savvy customers, the bank released its more powerful app, leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver topnotch customer experience.

"We designed My CBC with innovative features to make banking more convenient, secure, efficient, and inclusive for more Filipinos," CBC Chief Innovation and Transformation Officer Delfin Jay Sabido IX said, noting that My CBC has enhanced functionalities, including easy account opening. "Through the app, customers can start and maintain a banking relationship with Chinabank without the need to visit a branch."

With an intuitive interface, advanced capabilities, and the highest security standards, My CBC can address customers' day-to-day banking needs and help manage their finances seamlessly, securely anytime, anywhere.

The new My CBC features:

Faster and secure biometrics Login

Touch ID enables a quicker and more secure way to login, ensuring protection of banking information.

Mobile check deposit 

Simply use the mobile check deposit feature to capture and submit check images through the app. 

Digital onboarding

With just one valid ID, new customers can open an account directly on the app with ease, while existing customers can open an additional banking account with just a few clicks, streamlining the account opening experience.

Other features like “Scan to Pay”, “Pay Bills”, and “View e-Statements” and more make banking effortless.

The redesigned My CBC app is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play. A web based interface is also available to laptop users
