Cebu Pacific (CEB) carried over 2.1 million passengers in November 2025, a 9.1% decrease from the same month last year. Overall seat load factor (SLF) decreased to 81.8% from 83.2% last year with seat capacity declining by 7.5%. Domestic passengers decreased by 11.5% year-on-year on 12.2% lower seats, resulting in a domestic SLF of 83.8%. International passenger traffic, meanwhile, decreased by 1.8% year-on-year, with seat capacity up 7.1%, bringing international SLF down by 6.9 percentage points to 76.8%.
For year-to-date 2025, CEB has flown almost 24.2 million passengers, marking a 10.0% increase from 22.0 million in 2024. Domestic passengers grew 8.5% to 18.0 million, while international passengers grew 14.9% to 6.2 million. SLF averaged 84.0% for the period, while overall capacity in seats was up by 10.3% to 28.8 million. “As we entered November, we proactively reduced our flying to preserve maximum capacity for the December and January peak period. In addition, November was defined by severe weather events, particularly Typhoons Tino and Uwan,” said Mike Szucs, Chief Executive Officer of Cebu Pacific. “These events, along with the challenges associated with re-installation of Airbus so ware at the end of the month caused further impact to our overall capacity. We now look forward to returning to double digit capacity growth over the coming months to align with the strong forward booking outlook.” he said.
