Globe Telecom Inc. (Globe), a leading digital solutions provider in the Philippines with over 60 million customers, has expanded its collaboration with Nokia to accelerate the rollout of network application programming interfaces (APIs) across its partner and developer ecosystem.
Yusen Logistics Philippines, Inc., a leading global supply chain provider, has signed a supply agreement with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES), the retail electricity unit of the Ayala group, to power its head office in Parañaque City with 100% renewable energy, marking a significant step in the company’s environmental sustainability efforts.
Construction giant EEI Corporation officially opened its new EEI Training Academy, a state-of-the-art training facility spanning nearly three hectares and located in Tanza, Cavite. The milestone event was marked by the awarding of Certificate of TVET Program Registration to the Academy as an official TESDA-Accredited Training and Assessment Center.
TARI Estate is moving toward locator ready operations. Phase 1, covering 90 hectares, is on track for completion within the year, with succeeding phases advancing in parallel to accelerate critical infrastructure: internal roads with direct access to Luisita Road, reliable power and water, robust fiber connectivity, and estate wide utilities designed for continuous industrial performance. With PEZA and Bureau of Customs facilities expected by Q1 2027, TARI is steadily enabling locators to build, operate, and expand with confidence. LIMA Land, Inc. (“Aboitiz Economic Estates”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the integrated real estate platform of the Aboitiz Group, and House of Investments (HI), the non-bank holding company of the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC), have received clearance from the Philippine Competition Commission, allowing them to formalize definitive agreements for their joint venture at TARI Estate. The 184-hectare property owned by HI subsidiary Tarlac Terra Ventures, Inc. (TTVI) will be developed in partnership with Aboitiz Economic Estates, with HI holding a 51% stake and Aboitiz Economic Estates holding 49%. The latter will serve as the exclusive provider of project management, estate operations, and general support services, expanding TARI Estate to a total of 384 hectares.
Globe continues to lead the way in sustainability, not only cutting carbon emissions but also earning regional recognition for its innovative energy efficiency projects. This commitment to operational excellence and climate action was recently recognized at the ASEAN Energy Awards 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, where Globe secured the winning prize. The Jollibee Group has switched on 99% renewable electricity to power its commissaries in the Philippines, marking a significant step in strengthening the Company’s renewable energy use and operational resilience. The transition to geothermal energy—enabled through renewable electricity from First Gen—forms part of the Company’s broader renewable energy program and builds on earlier initiatives, including the integration of solar power in its facilities.
MacroAsia Properties Development Corporation (MAPDC) – a wholly-owned subsidiary of MacroAsia Corporation (MAC) – signed a Contract of Lease with Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) covering a parcel of land located at the Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) Cargo area, with an area of twenty-six thousand two hundred ninety-seven square meters (26,297 sqm). The leased property shall be used for aviation-related services.
