Ayala Land, Inc. and ABS-CBN signed the Deeds of Absolute Sale for QC property

The "Deeds of Absolute Sale" for the acquisition of a portion of the Lopez-led company's Quezon City property have been signed by ABS-CBN Corp. and Ayala Land Inc.

​On 27 February 2025, ABS-CBN Corporation and Ayala Land, Inc (the “Parties”) signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the sale of the portion of ABS-CBN’s real property located in Quezon City (the “Property”). The sale, covering 30,000 square meters (sqm.) out of the total 44,027.30 sqm. of the Property, was subject to certain conditions precedent, including Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) clearance.

On 20 August 2025, ABS-CBN Corporation and Ayala Land, Inc. signed the Deeds of Absolute Sale upon the compliance with the conditions precedent.

ABS-CBN will be consolidating its operations in the remaining 14,027.30 sqm. of the Property. Proceeds of the sale of the Property shall be used to partially pay and service its outstanding bank loans, pursuant to the Real Estate Mortgage between ABS-CBN and its Lenders.

ABS-CBN sold the property to Ayala Land, Inc. on an installment basis. The proceeds of the sale of the Property will be paid to the Security Agent on behalf of ABS-CBN's Lenders and shall be used to partially pay and service its outstanding bank loans, pursuant to the Real Estate Mortgage between ABS-CBN and its Lenders.

The Property houses several buildings including production facilities. ABS-CBN’s offices and studios will be consolidated in the remaining 14,027.30 sqm. of the Property to be retained by ABS-CBN.

Total purchase price of Six Billion Two Hundred Forty Million Seven Hundred Seventeen Thousand Three Hundred Ten Pesos (P6,240,717,310.00), VAT-inclusive.
