Ayala Land Expands in Davao with its First Luxury Residential Neighborhood

Ayala Land is expanding its presence in Mindanao with the opening of Virendo, its first high-end horizontal residential development in Davao under Ayala Land Premier (ALP). The residential enclave, located near Toril and only 16 kilometers from the city center, is envisioned as an exclusive, low-density neighborhood inside a master-planned, mixed-use estate.

Virendo's name is derived from the Spanish words verde (green) and pausado (gentle/deliberate), reflecting its vision of "an elevated verdant haven framed by Davao's hills and shorelines." The development offers 150 spacious residential lots ranging from 450 to 1,803 square meters, set against rolling terrain with natural waterways and panoramic views of the Mt. Apo-Talomo range and Davao Gulf.

Residents will have access to two luxury amenities facilities geared for leisure and enjoyment. The Residents' Lounge, near the main entrance, provides indoor and outdoor places for private meetings. The Sports & Leisure Centre, located at the neighborhood's highest point, has a social hall, a pool complex, and a multipurpose court. BAAD Studios, which is well-known for designing useful, immersive environments that combine luxury and sustainability, developed the community facilities. The first phase of the 37.4-hectare development is scheduled to be completed by the second quarter of 2029.
