Ayala Corporation Signs a $200 Million Loan Agreement with Metrobank

​Ayala Corporation (Ayala) has received a senior long-term loan facility of $200 million from Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank), marking another milestone in a relationship that has lasted over three decades.

The loan facility contributes to Ayala's strategic financing initiatives for ongoing commitments and investments in developing portfolios, including technology and payments, health, logistics, and mobility.

The agreement was signed on September 16, 2024, by Ayala Corporation's Chief Finance Officer Alberto de Larrazabal, Treasurer Estelito Biacora, Metrobank Head of Institutional Banking Sector Mary Mylene Caparas, and Metrobank Head of Large Corporates Maria Elena Trinidad.
