LIMA Tower One, Batangas' first premium office project, has achieved a historic milestone by gaining the second-largest office space take-up countrywide in the third quarter of 2024. According to the CBRE Q3 2024 Market Report, Conduent Incorporated, a worldwide leader in business process services, has leased 9,000 square meters of office space, firmly establishing LIMA Tower One as a center for IT-BPM activities in Southern Luzon.
Conduent, noted for its expertise in customer experience management, healthcare claims processing, and digital business solutions, serves a wide range of sectors, including automotive, banking, and public sector services. Its choice to establish operations at LIMA Tower One demonstrates Batangas' growing status as a leading commercial destination outside Metro Manila. This lease accounts for 24% of all provincial office take-ups in Q3 2024, demonstrating the increased demand for high-quality office space in well-connected provincial areas.

The CBRE report emphasizes Batangas' emergence as a prominent player in the decentralization of the IT-BPM industry. Southern Luzon's strategic location, strong infrastructure, and competitive labor have made it a top destination for industry expansion. As the country's IT-BPM industry expects to create 1 million new jobs by 2028, Batangas is likely to grab a sizable portion of this demand, propelling the region's economic expansion.
